Talked with a friend of mine who is an orthopedic doctor. He said an osteochondreal allograft is not the most common procedure performed - but literature has very favorable outcomes. He said anecdotally his patients that have had this procedure come to develop some varying degree of arthritis faster than the average adult- however the 10 year prognosis is very good - he may just have a bum knee by his mid 30s
