yesSo smart. Good organizations think way ahead.
Eh I think their logic is that they can have their cake and eat it too.if the rams were super serious they'd trade stafford
if they don't think they're making the playoffs this year they might(?) get super serious and tank to go along with their draft picks
if the steelers gave them a haul for stafford...
And there in lies the problem for 2025. We did nothing to improve a , at best, mediocre offense. No matter how you feel about the guy, our success next season rests squarely in Kyler. Last year the O-line held up and the offense scored enough points in most game to produce a win. Defense was the issue. That’s fixed through free agency and the draft. If he’s ineffective or gets hurt, I’m unsure we’ll make it to the promise land. The revamped defense should give us a chance to be competitive in every game.
I said I had forgotten about the Manning kid, there was No mention of him by my friend.Do the Rams think they're the only team that will be going after the top QB in 2026?
There will be some teams full on tanking this year to get the #1 pick, but Rams will likely start off drafting in the 20s next April.
And can we please see if Arch Manning can put together one successful college season before we anoint him as the next great NFL QB?
omg the hype train is completely, completely out of control for this kid.
This is a weird post to me. Of course they don’t believe that. That’s exactly why they went out to get more draft capital - to be able to hopefully outbid other teams looking to take a QB. Remember, in many drafts there are multiple QBs that go high, so they don’t need to be in the #1 slot. Maybe they target the kid from Clemson if they can’t get to #1 for arch (if arch ends up being that guy).Do the Rams think they're the only team that will be going after the top QB in 2026?

I think it's fair to assume that Trey, MHJ, MW, and Zay Jones will all improve next season. OL should be solid, depending on injuries. And running game is an asset. Like many posters have said, it would be nice to pick up another WR, but it looks solid to me.And there in lies the problem for 2025. We did nothing to improve a , at best, mediocre offense.
It’s still all falls on Kyler’s shoulders. I guess we can pray he goes in the way back machine.
I think the biggest potential source of improvement will come from MHJ, Trey Benson and a reasonably healthy O line.I think it's fair to assume that Trey, MHJ, MW, and Zay Jones will all improve next season.
Meh stafford knows his age and time horizon. Nothingburger. Happens with every player as they reach the end of their career.if we're hearing about this ish stafford is hearing about this ish and that's good ish at least for us
Considering we don’t have a starting right guard and we are relying on an oft-injured right tackle I don’t know how one can make this stake t.I think the biggest potential source of improvement will come from MHJ, Trey Benson and a reasonably healthy O line.
I think after that -- its hard to expect materially more from Trey and I think Mike Wilson is who he is.
Were trading for Tyreek HillHe gets an A- for me. We still needed a WR from somewhere and didn't get one. The top of the draft was amazing though.
Jonah hadnt missed a snap in the three years prior to last year -- sometimes its just some randomnessand we are relying on an oft-injured right tackle
Yes and tradesWe may not be done In regards to the speed receiver and guard slots. As I was reminded last night speaking with Papa CheeseClown, it’s not unusual for there to be some talent that rejoins the market post-draft as some higher wage players may be cut as a result of teams replacing them with younger talent. So it may not be Hernandez or bust at right guard.
stafford is 37 - peyton won mvp at 37 - kurt warner played here at age 37 in 2008 and we went to the superbowl - drew breeze brett favre i won't even mention bradyMeh stafford knows his age and time horizon. Nothingburger. Happens with every player as they reach the end of their career.
To be fair, they did draft a G, so you can't say at all.I gave them a B. Love that the D was addressed in both FA and the draft as it was priority number one. Not addressing the OL and WR at all is very concerning to me. Maybe will feel a little better when Hernandez is signed but not feeling great right now. Our WR room is not that good and its success is predicated on significant individual improvement from last year.
Thanks. I did not know that.Jonah hadnt missed a snap in the three years prior to last year -- sometimes its just some randomness
