Oregon football set a new program record at the 2024 NFL draft under the guidance of coach Dan Lanning.
The Ducks are poised to smash that record if the picks roll right during the 2025 NFL draft. Last year, Oregon saw a program-record eight players selected in the draft. This year, the Ducks had 12 players invited to the NFL Draft Combine and have a chance to break the record.

The Denver Broncos selected Bo Nix with the No. 12 overall pick. The Ducks then had five fourth-round picks on Day 3, including four players selected in 10 picks to help set the new school record.
Lanning led the Ducks to a perfect regular season and a Big Ten championship. However, Oregon saw its season end in the quarterfinals as eventual champion Ohio State knocked them out in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal.
Here's a look at how Oregon players project to fare in the 2025 NFL Draft:
USA TODAY's Michael Middlehurt-Schwartz:
DT Derrick Harmon: Round 1, No. 30 overall to the Detroit Lions
"Defensive tackle might not seem like the foremost area of concern for the Lions, but Alim McNeill and Mekhi Wingo's recoveries from torn anterior cruciate ligaments suffered late last season only further highlight the need for depth along a line that was undone by injuries. Comfortable attacking from almost anywhere, Harmon would surely be a welcome addition to a defense that looks desperate to set the tone up front."
ESPN's Mel Kiper and Field Yates:
DT Derrick Harmon: Round 1, No. 21 overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers
"Harmon led all FBS players in pressures from a DT alignment last season (34). And while the defensive line is strong in Pittsburgh, the roster could start looking to the future. Cameron Heyward will be 36 this season, so I like the idea of building with Harmon and Keeanu Benton. And as for the quarterback situation, I'm holding off. Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are off the board. It makes sense to wait until later in the draft (and sign Aaron Rodgers)."
OT Josh Conerly Jr.: Round 1, No. 31 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs
"What a coup this would be for Kansas City. The Chiefs must continue to address the offensive line even following the signing of Jaylon Moore . Conerly was excellent last season as the frontside protector for Dillon Gabriel, allowing just one sack. He could eventually do that for Patrick Mahomes. Conerly is always in control and dependable."
Here's a list of eligible Oregon football players for this year's NFL draft. Projections are based on The Athletic's Dane Brugler's seven-round NFL mock draft:
Oregon had a program-record eight players selected in the 2024 NFL draft. The previous school record was six players selected, which happened three times, including in 2023. The Ducks are well-positioned to beat that this season, with a total of 12 players invited to the combine. Of those 12, Bugler has 10 Oregon players being selected in his seven-round mock, which would easily set the new record.
Oregon has had a first-round pick in five straight drafts. Justin Herbert began the streak in 2020 and was followed by offensive lineman Penei Sewell (2021), defensive tackle Kayvon Thibodeaux (2022), cornerback Christian Gonzalez (2023) and quarterback Bo Nix (2024). Harmon and Conerly will likely continue that streak.
