Man, I’m convinced this team is just destined to always be bad-to-mediocre. Seems every season they tease us and then fade back to obscurity again - but never get that top pick to add a difference maker.

Man, I’m convinced this team is just destined to always be bad-to-mediocre. Seems every season they tease us and then fade back to obscurity again - but never get that top pick to add a difference maker.

I do like Armstrong's direction in building the team. We can't compete getting high priced free agents. We need to build through the draft. Hockey is like baseball, in that guys spend so much time in the minor leagues, it's hard when you don't see those first and second round guys on the ice immediately. It seems like we are building a good culture since the new owner came in. I haven't given up hope yet. The NHL is deep now, and it's hard competition, for sure.
