I dont know they sure do allow a lot of moles to enter there. And it was bombed from the inside once. So maybe he would be an upgrade.:D

Ok, I love this show on so many levels;
"but"
Hobbit Boy, leaving a crisis situation where possibly hundreds of thousands of lives are at stake;
To meet a crack ho in an alley?. Where he gets rolled by her pimp?
Come on.

Do we see the return of Kim?
Is it the same actress?

He needs froto with him to help him out. Hopefully Dave Matthews lookalike will get caught before he sets off the gas.

Wasn't it his sister? At least that's the impression I got, that it was family. Ex-girlfriend, a guy wouldn't even bother. ;)

I too, thought that was a little far fetched. Also, I don't know how that's going to play into the future plot. Did they take his whole wallet? :shrug:

A lot of this show is hard to believe, but, that's why they call it ENTERTAINMENT! :)

Who else loved Chloe kicking her ex-lover to the curb after he completed his CTU task for her? Also dug how Edgar chuckled after Chloe got bitchy when he said she did the right thing.

Evidently I missed that. :D
Still, getting rolled in an alley, when the west coast is about to implode?

BTW, has anyone ever seen Jack eat over the course of 24 hours?

Yes, including a card of some sort. Most likely an access card for something.

Whatever happened to Chase? Or that other guy who knew karate who got his leg amputated? And why does Kim always find herself in a situation where her significant other is losing a limb?

Actually, the article doesn't really specify tonight, it just sort of looked that way if you read it fast.

Cuthbert and Devane Return to 24
Source: FOX
February 13, 2006

Elisha Cuthbert and William Devane return, joined by newcomers C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders) and Ray Wise (Good Night, And Good Luck) as "Day Five" intensifies on 24. The nonstop fifth season continues Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and will clock in with a special two-hour event Monday, March 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In a day where he was implicated in the President's assassination, held hostage at the airport, and is following leads to terrorists armed with 20 canisters of military-grade nerve gas, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) has had little time to put the pieces of his personal life back together. Recently reunited with former lover Audrey Raines (Kim Raver), Bauer enlists her help to reestablish communication with his daughter, Kim (Cuthbert). When Kim reenters Jack's life, she does so with her trusted friend Barry Landes (Howell), a therapist who attempts to simmer down a boiling situation. Meanwhile, leadership issues continue to tangle the Administration, and Vice President Hal Gardner (Wise) and Secretary of Defense James Heller (Devane) join the cause against the terrifying situation.

The nonstop season accelerates with a special two-hour event, "Day 5: 5:00 PM-6:00 PM"/"Day 5: 6:00 PM-7:00 PM," airing Monday, March 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Agent Bauer deals with Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller), the defected federal agent who recruited Jack to counterterrorist work more than a decade ago, along with his wife Miriam (JoBeth Williams). The back-to-back episodes also feature President Logan (Gregory Itzin) muddling through more intense and iffy decisions while CTU commanders Lynn McGill (Sean Astin) and Bill Buchanan (James Morrison) redefine roles.

24, created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, is a production of Real Time Productions and Imagine Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Joel Surnow, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon, Evan Katz and Brian Grazer are the executive producers. Kiefer Sutherland is a co-executive producer.

I really like this show, but there are occasions that leave you scratching your head.

For instance, Lynn had his CTU access card taken from his wallet. Is this building so secure that he's allowed to re-enter without it?

And when the terrorists are on the phone while re-wiring the canister to release the gas, they're listening in at CTU, but no one is tracing the call? He was on there long enough.

I hear ya on the first one.

However, on the second they couldn't trace the call because they were just listening through Jack's earpiece...they had no connection to the phone itself and just listening in to what Jack was hearing. You can't trace a call unless you are tapped into either the sending or receiving phone line.

I thought it was a BS strategy to let the terrorists kill the kids in the mall since they couldn't have taken Jack back to the head dude anyway. Much more effective for them to just take down the terrorists right there, get rid of one canister and then have Jack cut some eyeballs out or whatever it took to get more information.

Plus, President Logan can't make one decision to save his life. He's the ultimate pass the buck dude. And I hate the way he cranes his neck like a freaking turtle, while waffling around that he can't decide what to do. He needs a little WWDPD? bracelet on his arm: What Would David Palmer Do?
