From a Cardinals fan I say CONGRATULATIONS to all Sox fans that have waited for this for soooooooo long. They dominated a great offensive Cards team. Overall the series sucked but I tip my hat to a great team.

Pretty amazing team effort. 8 straight - remarkable run. Whole team is MVP - and Francona did a fine job. But this has had the feel of bigger hands behind it - baseball gods just smothered the opponents' bats, once they made up their minds.


btw - Fox should be ashamed - what a time to be asking Lowe, Theo, etc about free agency decisions! How incredibly rude, and typically media-centric.
