Its amazing how it fell down to this order in the schedule but the next three games the CARDINALS play the TOP THREE RUNNING BACKS IN THE WHOLE NFL.

Of course it is only based on yardage but I'd dare you to pick another one you think is better and why.

We get the Bull first in Stephen Jackson and the rams who will have come off their best offensive and defensive game at home all season against the saints in which they actually had a chance to BEAT the saints in the end of the game.

It was amazing how the saints put 8 in the box and the rams ran at it like it was nothing while missing two starting offensive lineman.Bulger also played his best game of the season yesterday until the end.As usual for him it seems lately.

Then we get the race horse who has been turned loose in Chris Johnson in Nashville and they are on a 3 game winning streak after opening the season with 6 straight loses.Chris Johnson proclaimed they would win 10 in a row and make the playoffs.

The titans scored a ton of points in the fourth quarter against the Bills yesterday to show they can put up the points if neccesary. That will be another amazing game for the CARDINALS.

Then we face the best pure running back with the Bull and the Speed of both earlier backs, yet not the recieving ability of Chris Johnson (YET).This will be what I would consider our toughest game left on our schedule and I'm wondering how we'll face it.We're gonna need our Gerald Hayes back and Okeafor too_Our full rotation of defensive players and also know that brett favre is throwing for more yards than EVER before with well over 400 yesterday with a running game like that.

I only hope our running game can benefit our passing game close enough that we also can play with both threats in any game coming up.Our defense with rest and no turnovers seems to rise to the occasion.

Lets get ready to face the best the NFL has to offer in running backs one at a time in the next three weeks.

I'm not buying into our run stopping abilities till I see them occur in front of my own eyes all over again.I know we CAN do it.I also know we just let a guy name FORSETT run all over us in a division game yesterday.

These guys make Forsett look like a college back.CAN WE GET READY FOR THEM?ARE WE READY FOR THEM? You tell me!!!:)

Doug-----looks like the keys to success will be the backs of Okefor and Hayes. You know all about that, so my guess is that we will be giving up a lot of run yardage in the next three games. Lord knows Highsmith is not able to fill after someone sets the edge for him. I just don't see how wishing for Okefor and Hayes to come back and save us is in the CARDS.

I think that having a healthy Timmy and Beanie might help off-set what is going to happen to us on the ground. Good solid games from them should help balance our attack and open up things down-field for Kurt and the WR's. It certainly helped against the Hawks.

We really need for KW to have some really good performances these next three games. Boldin seems to be strong again, and he is a favorite target of KW's. I hope that we get more in tune with throwing the ball past the 1st down marker for these games. Throwing short, then hoping for a run after the catch is not good planning, and was very costly to us against the Hawks. We stopped way too many drives this way this week.

That said, KW came back after a slow start, and finished VERY strong. Was good to see him right the ship and start hacking away at the lines that the enemy had fouled our decks with.

We got ENOUGH from DD, CC, Haggans, Rolle, DRC, to make up for the barely adequate performances from Dansby, McFadden, Wilson, Robinson. Highsmith probably could have been a no-show, and not have made a difference in the outcome. DD played like a man possessed, and along with KW saved our butts.

We can probably overcome big run-performances by our next three opponents, provided we don't get a hot QB along with a big run performanc from the Rams, Titans, and Vikings. Balance in our offense is paying off now, and should only get better as we go along.

I think these next three games will more or less form the shape of things to come for us this year.

Our defense has been exosed for what it really is..average. Like last year we do make ourselves some breaks here and there, and can take advantage of them, most of the time.

This offense is what makes the Cards dangerous and so our success is hinged on them. If the running game continues to improve and we can maintain long drives and keep the other teams offense off the field we will hold down their running games by making them pass.
