What are you on about? Rosen has been with Philly since 2010.

Take a breath. He's been in the Eagles front office since 2010, and was the GM, but lost a power struggle with Chip Kelly in 2015 and lost his personnel duties until 2019, when he was again named GM.

If you want to go back to 2010, the records in his first three years were 10-6, 8-8, and 4-12. Again, not so great after three years.

I mean, you might want to check your sources there, champ. According to PFR, Roseman reclaimed personnel authority at the end of the 2015 season. After that he went 7-9, then 13-3 (won Super Bowl), and had one losing season since.

It's absolutely deranged to use Howie Roseman as an argument in favor of Monti Ossenfort.

So now I'm deranged? I was simply making the case that any general manager taking over a poor team needs time to fix the roster and achieve success.

BTW, I was wrong and you are correct that Roseman lost control of the Eagles personnel under Chip Kelly, but was again given control of personnel in 2016.

Fine, but Roseman doesn’t support that case. Do you think the cards go 13-4 next season?

Probably not, but I'd like to first see what they do in free agency and the draft. They need 2 or 3 above average players on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. That's a lot to do in one off-season.

The more interesting (and accurate) Ossenfort takeaway from last night's game is the Super Bowl featured THREE WIDE RECEIVERS who, to one extent or another, Monti Ossenfort decided were not good enough to play for him.

Makes you think.

To be fair, that could be because we're actually old. I'm a huge fan of Late Registration, Be, and The Documentary from 2005, for sure. But I'm also old and I think a lot a lot of people get locked into what they liked in their late teens/early 20s.

Yo, Lupe Fiasco came out with a new album last year. Who knew?
My hip hop knowledge ends with TCQ's Midnight Marauders. Im 54. That tracks.

You know damn well DeJean wouldn’t look like has behind our front 4 compared to Philly’s monster front 4.
Why would he not? He can flat out play. He's smart, extremely athletic, a great tackler, and is 9/10 where he is supposed to be. On top of that he's their punt returner. I love Max. Think he's going to be a good player, but right now he's no DeJean. I lamented that fact last night as he was returning that interception. It's revisionist history to complain about it but I think most of us were shocked we made that choice.

One man's opinion.:

The game was won by Philly's defensive line (Plus L.B.s)

The game was lost by K.C.'s defensive secondary.

It's more complicated than that, but I think the above is the gist of it.....

Like drafting CB in the 1st and 2nd as the Eagles did
In 2023, the Eagles used their first 3 picks on Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith and Tyler Steen.

In 2022, they used their first 3 picks on Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens Nakobe Dean.

In 2021, they used their first 3 picks on DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickerson and Milton Williams.

That is a lot of draft capital to spend on building the trenches in the 3 years prior. Context matters.

Because while DeJean is good, I doubt he would be having the same impact on our team. Philly arguably has the best front 7 in the league. Their pass-rush is ferocious to the point that they had multiple sacks against KC & I don’t remember them blitzing ONCE. That makes every DB’s lives so much easier. Meanwhile, Max is playing behind a mediocre pass-rush. It is nowhere near the same. Chris is smart enough to know better than that.

Its funny. Someone arguing Snoops first is the best hip hop record ever.... Id never even TRY to make that call. But Low End Theory rates way higher to me than Snoop.
Love that album. Classic indeed, but no way in any shape or form do I name it as an all timer.
