I know this is a question for another forum, but I see 461 viewers on right now. I read 'bot' on Wikipedia but I still don't get it. Some kind of malicious software that searches sites for weaknesses and that can also post in forums to disrupt them... how the heck does that work???

Bot/spider. Its how search engines like Google find things to place on their search engines. Its a program they use to scan site for info. Once they find it, it gets indexed on their search engine page. So if someone searches Arizona Cardinals forum, our site will come up because this site was scanned by bots/spiders and place on that search engine result.
