Bennedict Mathurin has been critical as the Indiana Pacers have reeled off three consecutive heart-stopping victories.
It's what the third-year player expects from himself.
"It's simple. I have no pressure here," he said postgame. "I don't want to be cocky or anything, but I mean I love being in those moments. I dream of being in those moments."
Reminded by FanDuel Sports Network's Jeremiah Johnson he had a career high in rebounds, Mathurin joked: "Board man get paid. I grabbed a couple rebounds, help my team win."
Mathurin's great stretch has come as Tyrese Haliburton has sat with a back injury.

"Everybody knows what time it is," he said of the crazy finishes. "Every time I say we're not supposed to be in that situation, we end up in that situation, but we end of winning the game."
Mathurin missed last season's run to the Eastern Conference finals with a shoulder injury, and he's eager to be part of a similar run this year.
