As soon as word came that Niko Medved was leaving the Colorado State men's basketball program there was one name top of mind for Rams fans.

Ali Farokhmanesh.

He was the popular choice among many fans to take over for Medved. Now it's come to be. The longtime CSU assistant will take over for Medved and lead the Rams moving forward.

The news of Farokhmanesh's hire lit up the CSU fan base on social media.
