I'm thinking it's something else since this was already reported (though the text I got said it was an undisclosed pick). Press conferences aren't usually called for trades, unless the trade is huge.

My bet is that it concerns Matt. It's just not Whiz's M.O. to call a conference like this without a pretty good reason. Usually it's just him standing in front of the curtain out by the practice fields.

The only thing I can think of is they are doing a presser to announce to the world once and for all that Matt isnt going anywhere, get everything out in the open so they can move on before the regular season starts. Or another bigger trade or extension.

Whiz is announcing that he has figured out a fix for the economy, that he has secured the border, that he cleaned up the remained of the oil in the gulf, that he has ended all environmental issues once and for all, and that he has cured cancer.

Oh and that the Cardinals are winning the SB this year.

No they won't talk about the depth chart, but they will announce the cuts and say nice things about some of those they had to cut and how difficult it was, etc. They've been doing this for the last few years...which Bucky was correct in remembering.

I dont think they have been doing that either Mitch. You have been nails this off season dont get me wrong. But if you got this one right I have to buy you lunch.
