Give me your picks for the 3rd Round. Someone who will legitimately last to the #80 pick.

Lets just say our 1st round pick was either a OL or an OLB. What say you for pick #80?

I'd love it if Mychal Kendricks, ILB from Cal fell to us in the third. I don't know what the chances of that are--maybe they're remote, maybe they're not.

Paging Russ...

Highest rated guy to fall thru the cracks. If there are 3 or 4 of them rated close-together, take the one who best fills a need.

Leonard Johnson (Iowa State) or the risky Janoris Jenkins (N Alabama/Florida). Jenkins is a 1st round talent with huge character concerns but if we do our due diligence and still like him, he could be a real steal in the 3rd round.

that punter Anger LOL

I see the LOL and agree it's way too high but I really hope we do draft a punter this year. There's 3 or 4 of them that are worth a 5th or 6th round pick for a team with real needs (IOW, us).

When I watched Cal this year I was mainly yelling at the QB so.

Kendricks is really fast, i'm not sure how big he actually is, can he get big enough and stay healthy. I vaguely recall some sort of injury but may be confusing him with another Cal LB.

He was really productive I know that one of those guys who was much better than they thought.

I don't know what he measured at pro day I know he ran well at the combine.

I think there was even some talk he might move to SS in the NFL.

Russ---I have liked some of the tapes I've seen of WR Marvin Jones. What is your take on Jones?

And while you are at it, how about T Mitchell Schwartz...he looks like he's in the Cardinal mold---but is there a red flag on him for back troubles?

Your assessment of these players please!

Jones is tough not sure how well he ran at the combine. It's really hard to judge any Cal Wr the last few years because the QB play was so bad. jones is not a burner, not a guy who gets huge separation, but he gets open makes plays and seems to have pretty good hands.

I guess a lot like Doucet without all the injuries so far.

SCwartz looked a bit stiff to me but then Cal's RB talent was way down this year so hard to judge, Sofele just wasn't close to some of the previous guys.

I know Schwartz had surgery on his back don't know what it was.
