The Cardinals got 8 TD receptions to their tight ends while having one of the best receiving corps around. There is no shortage I feel like if you listen to what Whisenhunt says about why Leinart is the starter, some of it is the drive-killing turnovers of Kurt Warner. Now, if Whisehunt demands methodical drives that land us deep in the red zone every time, there will be no need for a tall, physical receiver when they have the boys they have now. However, I can't help but wonder how amazing it would be to come out in a 3WR I-Formation with Adarius Bowman, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald there. When that formation lines up, the other team should just hand them 7 points. I understand the desire for a speed freak, as Bowman's 4.55 is now a 4.76 time. I would make more noise for Dexter Jackson from Appalachian St. if he drops to the third but Bowman had a weak Senior Bowl and there are Jordy Nelson, Limas Sweed, and Malcom Kelly of similar size and 6-6 James Hardy that could all be taken first.

here's some memorable highlights and bad music:

He is like a quicker, meaner T.O.

Whisenhunt needs to get someone who can grab BJ's spot in training camp because Urban is not an imposing 3WR and they shouldn't chance Breaston getting hurt or losing his burst by making him that involved in the offense.

Why wouldn't we just flex out 6'8" Leonard Pope? In the Red Zone, he's just as good an option as anyone else.

I'd rather have a scampering little guy who is good between the 20s and can open up the middle of the field. We have tons of big guys with middling speed for the red zone. No one can stop Larry Fitzgerald on the fade, and no one can disrupt Anquan across the middle of the field.

If we're going to draft a WR in the 3rd, he better be a guy who can scamper for 40+ yards, not someone that can catch a 3-yard slant.

The 3rd would actually be pretty high for Dexter Jackson. He's more likely late 4th/5th round. There are a few small school WR's that can be had late that i think fot the bill for our speed/slot WR.
Will Franklin,Missouri- 6'1 214 4.37. He's climbing the charts and is probably a 3rd rounder ( i know mizzou isn't a small school)
Jerome Simpson,Coastal Carolina- 6'2 199 4.42. the Cards are said to have an interest in him.Probably a 4th/5th round guy
Dexter Jackson,App St,- 5'10 182 4.33
Armon Shields,Richmond-6'1 194 4.37. From what i've read, i like this guy. 4th or 5th rounder.

i stll say, if somehow Jordy Nelson is there in the 4th, he's my pick. I have seen him as high as round 2 now though .

I'm not terribly high on Nelson, at least not for the Cards. I'd take Franklin in the 4th or Jackson in the 5th or 6th before Nelson in the 2nd or 3rd. He's just not fast enough for our needs.

I like what Ive read about Jerome Simpson. The problem is people might think the 3rd round is too early and yet I don't believe he will last untill the 4th.
I wouldn't mind us moving up in the 4th to grab him. Seems crazy with the money we have invested in WR's but if anything were to end the season for Fitz or Q , our passing game would become VERY ordinary.

At mizzou pro day Franklin vertical jumps 40 1/2 inches. Ok guys, 6 ft., 214 lbs.,
and runs a 4.37 40. Let's see super fast, good size and can leap like a deer, does this sound like our #3 WR of the future?

cbus, I don't care about whose charts so-and-so is climbing. I trust more your judgments on Ohio State players or on guys our people have seen play.

Which of those small school speed WRs have you seen video on?

I'm a big Coastal Carolina and Richmond fan :D.
I have seen Dexter Jackson play against Michigan and his speed in unquestioned.
