Just bored on a Sunday afternoon. I am using CBS Sports overall Prospect Rankings as my baseline:
Pick #7: Jarvis Jones OLB - Georgia - Pass rushing specialist that immediately starts opposite of Acho day one.
Pick #38: Zach Ertz TE - Stanford - #2 tight end in the draft. Has had a good career at Stanford. Will be on the field in 2 tight end sets next season.
Pick #66: Brian Scwenke C - California - He has started at guard and center for the California Golden Bears. He projects as the #2 center in the draft and immediately comes in as a backup interior lineman in case of injury or subpar line play.
Pick #103: Josh Evans FS - Florida - I like his 40 time, shuttle and cone drill. We need safety depth and this seems like a good spot to take one.
Pick #140: Kenjon Barner RB - Oregon - Explosive playmaker in space. He has the speed and quickness to take any play the distance. I like him more of a slot option rather than a strict running back. He can also return kicks.
Pick #174: William Gholston DE - Michigan State - Back up to Darnell Dockett. Appears to have the physical traits of a 3-4 DE and will be a possible replacement to DD in the future.
Pick #219: Knile Davis RB - Arkansas - 7th round flier on a big and fast running back. He has the size to be a three down running back and will be a back up to Rashad Mendenhall in case he get hurt through out the year.
