So, we got robbed at #4 by the NBA a little bit however, all is not lost I think...

Philly has Ben Simmons and okafor at the forward spots so no way they take josh jackson. They may even decide monk, Isaac, or Dennis Smith Jr.

In other words, Suns could still end up with their guy at 4. Suns could have a choice of Josh Jackson and DeArron Fox at 4.

Isaac may be the best out of this draft when it's all said and done. I still think Dennis smith(barring injury concerns) can be a dominant player in this league. I actually like him more than the other two.

Jackson really is the perfect fit. Book cant play defense and Ullis can but is undersized, they need a wing defender or it will get ugly.

It also allows them to play "small" with Dragan at the 5 spot. Warren can be rotated in as a perfect 6th man.

Okay with Fox too because of the upside.

Why take the toothpick version of Bledsoe?
Because he went to Kentucky and Suns want a younger version of Bledsoe that can grow with the current nucleus of Booker/Bender/Chriss/Warren.

I honestly like Monk and wouldn't mind it at all if he was our pick.

I really don't want Monk at #4, that's not quite a wasted pick but not a very good one. Maybe trade with Orlando for #6 and #25? We could get Monk at #6, if that's who we're after. I think we'll go after Fox unless Jackson happens to be on the board.

Can we make this the non mourning thread, the other thread takes care of that, and the official how the 4 will play out?

Fultz and ball are locks at 1 and 2, celtics love fultz, lakers love ball. Philly will decide who we pkck, chad ford just put out mock with them taking monk?

Unless he blows them away in workouts and they think he can be a point don't see it.

Considering the lottery just happened an hour ago, nothing wrong with still mourning about it in a draft thread.

Bill simmons not convinced 100% lakers take ball over fox? Fox taken 2 or 3 will be good for our options.

Especially if the Suns are content with their PGs.

Funny how the team with the smallest market gets the lowest of the top 4 picks.

I followed Magic's career, his business exploits, etc. I am telling you he was the happiest guy at number two assuming that he will get Ball. I KNOW he will take Ball. That's his guy.

Maybe Philly gives us #3 for Bledsoe and we take Fox and Jackson?

If we go with likelihoods...we know Fultz is going #1... Ball to the Lakers seems likely... Philly needs a PG and this is a PG draft so they take Fox or another PG.

This could leave Jackson falling in our laps. Without even trying!

I do like Jackson. If we are going to take the 7 foot kid from AZ, could we swap down a couple spots and gain another pick?

Chad ford, have no idea if his sources are any good with the sixers. :

A good but hardly ideal night for the Sixers.

They didn't get the Lakers' pick (though they will get it next year), and their own pick actually fell to fifth. But they moved up to third because of a savvy Sam Hinkie trade made years ago, allowing them to swap places with Sacramento.

Still, it's a tough spot as the Sixers wanted either Fultz or Ball. Now the choice is tougher. But they need shooters and Malik Monk should be there for the taking. Or they can go with the toughness of De'Aaron Fox to bolster their perimeter defense.

Coach Brett Brown plans on putting the ball in Ben Simmons' hands next year, so right now Monk looks more likely. But Fox has a lot of fans in the Sixers' front office and Brown loves gritty players.

I am going to pray for Jackson and be happy with Fox. My only worry is Tatum.

Cant believe I'll say it, but wish slin was here now, he had tatum number 2, bilas has him 3, not sure why some people are so down on him.

Like jackson more, but also see big time potential with tatum.
