I only saw highlights but another TD where Budda comes flying in and the ball goes right by him, this one the pass to the FB.

And another catchable jump ball in the endzone that Marvin didn't catch. But he got a nice fade later.

You can't be more wrong. I said K1 would play great after we had nothing to play for, but I won't be fooled again.. he's still a middle of the pack QB. I'm a cards fan not a player fan like some of you.

But so good to pay off the die hard fans with another win at home though right WC? Good to be 6-3 at home?

I know, you're right this win is little more than fools gold. Murray mostly inconsistent in 2024 and bad in the clutch.

But it does show what the passing offense is capable of when the pass protection is good. Murray/McBride/Dortch/MHJ/Z. Jones routed the 49ers secondary today.

Yeah I'm terrified that Murray will choke again if we're in a must win vs. SEA next Dec.

But I also think with a good offseason and a good draft we could win 10 or 11 games next year.

And maybe, just maybe, Murray can turn the clutch thing around. Don't under estimate the kid's desire to be great.

Reasonable post, I would love for us to build a great defense and see what Murray can do if there is less pressure on him to be "the man".

I know it's "all about Murray all the time" for most fans. But damn, the defense could've put us in the playoffs with 3 or 4 more turnovers and/or sacks as well. We were that close to making it and you can win games on both sides of the ball.

Before the season started would you have bet on our defense being capable of leading this team to the playoffs? I sure wouldn't have but was pleasantly surprised.

I feel pretty confident JG/NR can get it done if they get some more playmakers on that side of the ball. We have a few pieces, BB, Stills, Garrett, maybe Wilson and DTD (not a huge fan of Kyzir but he's not terrible). But we need a wrecking ball on the D line. Another JJ Watt type guy (Chopper will get mad at me for asking for this but I still think it's true). Plus a legit passing rushing threat.

Anyways, the defense was up and down this year but they still overachieved I think. I vote we go defense heavy in the draft, and also maybe pick up a big name defensive FA!

2024 kind of sucked but I think there's hope for 2025!

You going to any away games next year?

This comment is so funny. Yes, we need a top 5 all time DT.

ha! I would settle for another JJ Watt! :) Still too much?

But we need a real disruptor on the IDL Chopper. Plus a legit pass rush threat too!

Our front seven is game, but a little low on big-play-making ability!

I'm hopeful for DRob, but he was kind of underwhelming. Still super early of course!

Indy and San Francisco as it stands. But I don't miss playoff games so maybe more next year. Fingers crossed...

Until today we had forced only three turnovers since the bye week. Kyler’s turnovers also a problem of course.

We need a consistent edge rusher in the worst way and DRob to meet at least 70% of the hype placed on him by Cardinal media

Somewhere between Darnell Dockett and Aaron Donald.

I do think there is a significant chance the Cardinals go after Reddick.

This is a joke right? One of the most stacked rosters in football give me a break. Down season with injuries but you must be kidding….
We always hear about their stacked roster. Why don't they have more than 4 winning seasons in the 8 years of the Shanny/Lynch regime? If it's always injuries, then maybe they aren't as stacked as we are lead to believe.

lol they’ve been to a few Super Bowls recently and had a great defense and offense so yeah they are injured this season but easily one of the most stacked rosters in all of football

Is this a real question? Half their seasons have finished no worse than the conference championship game and you’re asking for more?

If you can give $12 million per year to a guy with 5 pressures in 344 snaps you have to do it.
This was an outlier season for him. I think this team needs to add a pass rusher and I think Gannon will push for him in a bad market.
