49ers cutting Skelton

Did they just realize he didn't play for Arians so there was no point in pumping him for information, or is the guy the QB starved Vikings just cut really that good?

I've never heard of Bethel-Thompson or whatever he is, is he maybe a running QB who fits the revamped offense better?

I would be surprised if he knew one play, which was a supposed reason he was cut in AZ & probably didn't help his ability to play. Plus he just sucked azz too.

I was actually scared that harbaugh might make something out of him. Though pompous ass be may be he has been able to improve QBs.

Hell, Josh McCown is still drawing NFL checks as a backup for the Bears. If you ever show any ability as a QB at all, you can be recycled for a long, long time. Doesn't take much. Just a couple of decent games, and good physical measurements.

These guys can't get or keep jobs as backups on other teams, and they STARTED for us in the past. Leave carson alone, ffs. Yeah, he can be a hot mess but he's still fairly legit...we started John F Skelton last season.
