They are acting as if they have already won the division. Good! It will be that much sweeter when we pass them for the division lead by week 7. I don't see the problem they're 2-0 with 2 division wins so right now they have a right to crow. I don't think it'll end up that way I don't know if they can win the division with their passing game but then I didn't think they'd be 2-0 now either.

Two games is too early for smack. No matter who you are, or who you cheer for, IMO. Either that, or just make sure you enjoy while you can, because it's a long season.

Mixed feelings here. The Cardinals played a lousy game in week one without question. But the Niners have a better defense than I thought.

IMO, the Niners have a popgun offense. But their kickers and special teams are decent and Singletary has the defense playing well. I believe Seattle and Arizona have more and better talented players. But Singletary seems to have his troops fired up every week.

Anytime the Niners face an opponent with an offense they'll be in trouble IMO, because I don't think they can recover from a big deficits or score very many points.

I agree with Parcells. "You are what your record says you are." Unless the refs gave the game away, it doesn't matter if you did.

But in terms of crowing between Cards and Niners fans, since the divisions realigned in '02, we are 7-7 against each other. '03 was a split, and every other year one team swept. One playoff appearance for each (Niners 1-1, Cards 3-1).

The Niners are also only 20-16 against the Cards all-time, which surprised me, since 5 Super Bowl victories is light years ahead. But since the new NFC West was born, not a lot to crow about for either.

The Niners are 2-0 this season and 2-0 in the Division. Before the season started, they probably expected to go 0-2 due to the QB situation.

They went on the road in week one and beat the defending NFC Champs, a team that swept them last year.

They opened their home schedule with a win against the team that has dominated this division this decade.

And they did it all while their #1 draft pick sat at home and demanded more money.

They have every right to be elated. They have every right to brag. No matter what happens this week, they will still be in first place in the West (they will still have the best division record).

I don't care what they say, I just hope they can stay classy. If the Cards can actually play up to their potential each week, we'll still have the last laugh.
