Wow, good game. 49ers came to play. I thought that kick was blocked, but it hit. 0-2 Niners, yay.

Win or lose the 49ers made a huge statement tonight. They are unified and are not imploding. They rallied around each other and put the other NFC West teams on notice tonight.

They played a good game, but that is expected when it's a home opener, especially when it's televised nationally. They lost, and how you lose really doesn't matter in the end. 0-2.

Yep, they bought us another week of breathing room. Hopefully it increases from here on out.

49ers are not bad. They took the SB champions to the line. We have to face them twice. Don't take them lightly.

Still glad they are 0-2 tho.

I'm still thinking about the goal line play for the conversion. I swear we had a play against ths steelers just like that a few years ago and we didn't get the TD. Anybody else remember it?

Great game!!! I still say the Niners are a better overall team than us. We have terrible QB play & a suspect defense. Maybe we can win the West with a 6-10 record. Lol

I don't know man they took it to the Saints good. Especially after everyone was saying they imploded. It's a loss, but they didn't roll over and get hammered like I sure a lot of people expected them too.

The great thing...It shows the Cards still have luck going our way. The 49ers could have easily won that game and they didn't. Last year the 49ers could have won 3 or 4 games more easily but they didn't. This helped the Cards huge.

It only helps the Cards if they take advantage of it this Sunday. The 9ers could start 0-4 and still end up winning this division if the Cards don't start playing better.

Niners did look pretty good. They found a way to lose.

This is why I dont fear the 9ers. They will find ways to lose ball games with coaching and Alex Smith. They have had multiple communication blunders, which has cost them timeouts.

I think today's "moral victory" was mainly due to it being a home opener, MNF and the retiring of Jerry Rice's number. Any other day, this is a 3+ possession blowout.
