Just providing insight ......... but cute..........

Thanks!

On a less abrasive not: Hopefully you see all the hate for RW and take it for what it is...Sour grapes, the Cardinals have gone decades and have not drafted (in any round) a decent/durable QB..Let alone a great one.

RW is almost impossible to hate, but as long as he plays in this division, I will be hoping his stats continue to slide so far down, that by the end of next year Tavarius Jackson is the starting QB, with a passer rating of sub 50. :p

He's clearly too small to be an effective QB - especially if he has to pass the ball a lot because no QB his size could succeed as a frequency pocket passer

Osprey, did you take this pic? It seems to be rotated 6 degrees counter-clockwise - which may give the impression that Wilson is as tall as or taller than Brees, when he is in fact an inch or so shorter. Rotating the picture to horizontal makes their true relative heights more clear.

Regardless, i think Wilson is one of the top QBs in the game already.

 This is the kind of statement that will be pulled up in a couple of years. I will go with common conjecture here, and say that this in NOT debatable. Luck all the way.

It kind of is debatable.

Wilson's totals in two seasons
52 TD Passes
5 TD Runs
63.3 Cmp%
6.6 TD%
8.1 YPY
19 INT's
10 Fumbles Lost
24 Wins

Luck's totals in two seasons
46 TD Passes
9 TD Runs
57.0 Cmp%
3.8 TD%
6.8 YPY
27 INT's
12 Fumbles Lost
22 Wins

What is amazing about all of this is that Luck threw 397 more passes and only completed 171 more passes.

BWT, I would take Wilson over Luck, but I have never been a Luck fan.

I wish! Sideline passes for the pro-bowl would be awesome ... instead, I was here in AZ last year while that was going on.

Plenty of pictures of the two of them, they are pretty close - Brees has him by a hair, but the point remains

Seattle has had one of the tallest and one of the shortest QBs - I'm much happier with the short one

I can respect that and wouldn't expect anything less

I heard a coach, GM, scout, or somebody on NFL radio earlier and they were talking about Drew Brees being short, yet effective, from the pocket. They mentioned that he has extremely long arms and that makes for high release point. He said seeing over the OL is not the main issue but having to throw it over top of the OL is. This is true about Brees, next time you watch Brees play, notice his arm length. They literally almost hang to his knees.

Wilson is built that same exact way - long arms, very high release point and gigantic hands (dude has 10.5" hands - that's insane)

His hand/arm measurables are almost identical to Brees as is his height .... any variations are very slight .... which is a big part of the reason why Wilson has studied and pretty much idolizes Brees

This is a pretty typical pocket pass for the guy

what happen to wilson?has been measured at combine 5'10'' 5/8 and now is 5'8''?

My bad. Was it Flutie that was 5'8"? So the point remains that Wilson is under 6' which means that the chance of them being a good QB is 2 out of 16000. Yes I made that up but hopefully the point is made.
