Yes, best start after 6 games since 76.
In case you are wondering if we win next Sunday it goes back to 74 when we didn't lose our second game until the 9th game. (we started 7-2 that year)
Looking ahead if we beat both philly, the cowboys and the rams to get to 8-1 you would have to go back to 1948 when the Chicago Cardinals went 11-1 in the regular season and lost to philly in the championship game.

First time since 76 which means first time in my life, and many others. So nice I'll say it twice! This is the first time IN MY LIFE the Cardinals have been 5-1. Yeah baby! I'm going to enjoy this one forsure!

I still remember that team like it was yesterday.
I honestly dont get the negativity. The Raiders look great with their new coach. Derek Carr played like a stud two weeks in a row. No mistakes today. Dude stood in pocket and stepped up into pressure, what can you say about that kid?
Worst case scenario, even if we lose the next two weeks to the Eagles and Cowboys, both look like damn good (playoff) teams, we will still be 5-3 at the halfway point in the season, and we'll be tied for the division lead with the Hawks and (probably) the 9ers. There is no guarantee we will lose both games, this team does nothing but surprise us. GO CARDINALS!!!

If the Niners lose, we will be up 1 1/2 games. We are 5-1, they would be 4-3 if they lose to Denver. But, we have the tiebreak on the niners.
And yet we seem to find a way to win.
