COVID-19 has given me the time to put together a list of 99 things I would have done if I knew what I know now.

I'm pissed that the Cards didn't select Tom Brady.

The difference is the Texans and Chiefs moved up to take Mahomes and Watson, right in front of AZ and AZ ended up with Rosen, Bradford and Reddick.

The Cards could have easily moved up a spot or 2 and got one of them.

The 10 and 12th pick were available for trade, The Cards sat right behind them and got outworked by other teams, to jump up and snipe the NFL MVP and Deshaun Watson, Cards are damn lucky they got Murray because that was a major fail by the Cards Front Office.

They were at 13 and Mahomes went 10 and Watson went 12. The Texans and Chiefs moved up to take the Superbowl MVP and Watson, leaving the Cards with Reddick, they could have had Mahomes, the Cards wanted Mahomes and Chiefs jumped them at got them.


Reddick, Chad Williams and Rosen could have easily been Mahomes.

Cards could have given up the Chad Williams pick to move up for Watson

I think that this is, perhaps, the most horrendous pick of the past 15 years. A walk-on tweener from Temple who shot up the draft board like a meteor because of hype. I was displeased with picks over the years but never saw a guy with such little chance of success.

Brandon Williams would like to differ. At least Haason has made at least ONE play in his entire time in AZ.

Easiest thing in the world to do is look back at the past and pick decisions apart

I pounded the table hard for Malik Hooker he was the best ball hawk I ever seen and he hasn’t been healthy ever since he was drafted.

It's INSANE to say with the benefit of hindsight we only "possibly" should have traded a first-round pick for one guy who would have been OROY and lead his team to the playoffs the last two seasons or another who won the MVP in his second season and was the Super Bowl MVP in his third. WILD.

Of course, looking back, those guys probably should've (and would've) gone 1-2 in the draft.

At the time, considering where we were (Trying to hold a potential championship roster together with Carson Palmer at the helm), it would have been a weird choice, especially if you weren't prepared to immediately cast Palmer aside (he ended up injured that season, anyway). But it would have been the brave and right one.

Every other team would do that trade in a heartbeat, including the Cards. I'm not defending our piss poor drafting, but I can't stand Monday morning QBing on stuff like this.

I wish we would have drafted Adrian Peterson, Mahomes, Watson, Brett Favre, Dan Fouts, etc. If someone thinks that we shouldn't have, then they are an idiot. Everyone is in agreement NOW that we should have done something, but at the time, it wasn't so clear for the team to do something.
