The maximum that can be offered to Kobe by other teams is 6yrs/100M$.
That is a starting salary of under 12M$ with a 15% increase every year and ends up at about 24M$ in his last season.
Even when he stays with the Lakers his starting salary would be something like 14M$ I believe.
Kobe Bryant is allowed to sign a contract with a starting salary of 105% of his last year's salary. That would put him at $14.2 million in 2004-05. He does not need to stay with the Lakers to get that.
