60 wins is looking shaky. The Suns are in cruise control right now at 57 mph.

If Hunter had made his dunk, I don't think people would be as concerned. I agree that the team hasn't looked very sharp, but they've been somewhat erratic all season, and as "down" days go, this isn't too bad.

The youth of this team is a bigger concern to me than anything else come playoff time.

If you consider that this was supposed the "getting experience year", then no matter what happens this is just incredible. Having success early is making people think that this is a now-or-never team, and it's not. While I do think we have a shot this year, I think we'll have a much better one next year.

I'm a little concerned with Nash..he just seems to run out of steam! I watched the two San Antonio overtime games.. I don't see Parker having any problems playing a lot of minutes or Davis on Golden State either... I think when he gets older he'll even have more problems.. I hope we can have a really good back up behind him in the future...

Heh, thank you, I think.

No, I'll keep it alive until the best overall record issue is decided.

Homecourt in the finals is secure should we advance.

San Antonio: Memphis twice, Minny once.
Suns: Sacramento twice, Nugs once.

Our final trio is alot tougher than SA.

Kings are not that tough anymore. Brad Miller has been out and now Peja is out for the remaining games. The toughest game for us is Denver but we know how to handle them so far. Hope that continues Monday.

The Denver game is huge. Until tonight (they lost big to Houston), they have been the hottest team in the NBA. We haven't been that impressed because the Suns won in two of the three losses the Nuggets have had since George Karl took over. The Suns played well, but did not dominate in those two wins.

In any case, I do not want to have a "must win" on the final game on the road.

Why not? Be nice for them to show they can play 'Must Win Game' mode just in time for the playoffs, because that's the intensity they'll need to go all the way. That's where their youth and inexperience will hurt them the most - so might be better to come off a ferocious struggle (and win) than just cruise at the end.

yeah well, it still says "after home win over Clippers".
But the 61st win came with beating the Kings.
Or am I totally wrong on this.

It's most likely just a cut'n'paste mistake

didn't we beat sacramento last night?

Oops! Yep, a cut-and-paste mistake it was. I kept thinking I was missing something...

Thanks for catching it.

I just was a little confused by reading Clippers twice.
Sorry if anyone was bothered. I didn't wanted to be a know-it-all.

A new thing to watch for

Although leading the league in three-pointers made for most of the season, Richardson has now fallen of the pace. Will he regain the top spot over the last two games?

1. Damon Jones (Heat) 221
2. Quentin Richardson (Suns) 219
3. Kyle Korver (Sixers) 218

Jones and Korver both shoot over 40%, while Richardson is at a more modest 36%, so in some ways it's not a fair comparison -- I think we'd all prefer someone who shoots a little less often and makes more. But we can overlook that minor detail. :p

Record after road loss to Kings: 62-20, .756
Suns tie franchise record for regular-season victories

Three-point watch:
1. Quentin Richardson 226 (5-14)
1. Kyle Korver 226 (4-12)
3. Damon Jones 225 (1-6)

(Oops, I accidentally edited the last post instead of making a new one. That means I have to post again to bump this up. Oh well.)
