Awkwardly worded, yes, but it was to prevent confusion at the polls. Some good that did, right?

Lol, pretty much: Whos got the right to be mad at the other guy?

I don't understand the question

Lopez and Shaq got into it on the bench today during a timeout. Shaq got after Lopez for loafing down the floor and giving Rudy that easy breakaway dunk. Lopez then got pissed and yelled at Shaq. Shaq then got back after Lopez.

I think that sums it up. :D

Certainly Shaq has earned more respect than Lopez, but neither of them are in the right here. Shaq is good for being a leader and telling the rookie to hustle, but do you really think Shaq would have given much more effort. I took it as Lopez being lazy, and Shaq being somewhat hypocritical.

I have to disagree with you. Shaq has been playing harder than ever in his career and he's earned the right to call out Lopez, and anyone else who needs to be called out. Shaq of five years ago would have been a hypocrite, but Shaq we've seen this year is certainly not.

With the way Lopez plays, I think everyone on the Internet has the right to tell him off when he's sucking.

I think it's hilarious that Lopez will show some spine against his teammate O'Neal when he hasn't done it against a single opposing player all season long.

:yeahthat:

Shaq has earned the right just by the mere fact that he has played 17 seasons vs. 1 season. But really, I've seen Shaq just stand around and let others around him get the rebound.

No kidding. As bad as Dragic looked earlier in the year, Lopez has been worse the entire time. He shows no aptitude for anything, offensively he brings nothing to the table and defensively he's a bigger liability than Nash and just a fouling machine. He compounds the problem by being one of the worst 7 foot rebounders in the league. What a waste of a draft pick.

I am referring to that specific play. I am not saying that Shaq is lazy all together, I am saying on that particular play where they were Rudy had already clearly beat him, I don't think Shaq would have been sprinting. Unless of coarse he had the Shaq rabbit sprint on.

I honestly think that Lopez has gotten worse the more I have watched him. It seemed that earlier in the year he was at least a defensive presence around the rim and was blocking/changing shots. Now he just isn't doing anything.

Didn't we hear about how Lopez will come in and be a hard working energy guy? That he has the talent and a much better attitude than his brothers which would seperate him?

Apparently you have forgotten that the talent evaluations of "professionals" are always superior to the ignorant opinions of message board fans, and that for anyone here to question the wisdom of the Suns' front office shows laughable arrogance and self-delusion.

In other words, "I think I'll trust what the experts say over you, LOL!"

No, of course not. I was referring to a handful of others on this board who don't think the rest of us are qualified to form independent thoughts.

I'd say that most "serious" message boards would do a better job running a team than any GM. Not to blame anyone in particular but that's how it is.

How is this even a question? More than half the league can't stand up to Shaq, you think a rookie who is quite possibly a bust, can?

Give me a break, the kid wasn't thinking when he was playing last night. Shaq called him out on it, as team mates should.

End of discussion.

Andrew apparently has put an end to this discussion so can we get a mod to put a lock on the thread please? Just playing.

I would disagree with you though Andrew... I would argue that no one in the league can stand up to Shaq, not just "more than half". Please don't underestimate and under appreciate Shaq anymore, it disappoints those of us who are Shaq fans.

What this clarifies things. Lopez not only cannot think but he can not play either.

This is the only board I post on and I would have to say that as a collective GM we would suck big time. I do think the guys that follow college basketball seriously could draft better, but other than that we'd be awful - we have such violent swings of opinion depending on recent results, that we'd chart a path that would look like a random walk.

Apparently someone is going to give it a try, though its not a message board crew - found this at the link slin gave...
The British organisation MyFootballClub announced, on 17 November 2007, that it had reached an agreement in principle, pending a due diligence investigation and members vote, to purchase Ebbsfleet United F.C. of the Blue Square Premier. The group will let its members vote on the composition of the team, the starting lineup, player transfers, and other matters.[15]
