According to Marc Stein, the 76ers have called around gauging the trade value of Turner.
I took a look at trademachine and saw a couple options.
Gortat for Turner and Moultrie
Gortat and Johnson for Turner, Moultrie, and Hawes
Gortat and Dudley for Turner, Moultrie, Hawes, and pick
Rationale: Turner is a poor man's Grant Hill (in his Piston's days). He's certainly not the scorer that many thought he may be when he came out of Ohio State, but his ability to handle and distribute the ball as a small forward, make him a rare commodity. He's 24 and could be a nice building block for the future.
Moultrie is a power forward that the front office liked in last year's draft according to Gambo. There was talk of the Suns drafting him at 13 or trading back into the draft to snag him. He eventually fell to 27. He hasn't done much this season, but he could battle Morris for playing time. He's also taller (nearly 6'11" in shoes) and could play some center.
Hawes is a serviceable center with a nice shooting touch.
Gortat gives Philly a solid starting center. Bynum is slated to come back after the All Star break, but who knows how effective/motivated he will be. Bynum is also a free agent this summer. He may not resign with the 76ers, if they even want to resign him. Gortat would be under contract for another year. I really don't think Gortat is going to want to resign with the Suns after his contract expires and even if he did, his best years will be behind him before the Suns have a chance to be relevant again.
Dudley is a Doug Collins kind-of-guy. I'd hate to give him up, but if we could improve our future and acquire more assets then I may be open to it.
Johnson would be filler, but he is young and talented enough for an organization to see potential. He's also expiring.
