somewhere a darksider just had a hemorage in his frontal lobe reading this.

lol, as the only remaining familial darksider, i represent both cheese and i when i say . . . (you might want to sit down) . . . 8-8.

agree that since we're outta the leinart/bush sweepstakes let's win out and carry some mo into next season.

I would have picked the high pick in the past, but at some point high picks really just don't matter if they never help the team win. It's time to change the culture of losing that sufficates this team.

I am so sick of 4-12 and 6-10.

8-8 would be GREAT!

SOOO tired of these records...to go 8-8 with this team and their MAJOR injuries I would be off the wall ecstatic. Hell, 7-9 would have me doing shots of Patron in celebration (not that I need a reason).

Not only do we end up 8-8, I would like to see us begin to dominate teams while doing it!!!!!!! JJ starting to get 100+ a game, Warner and the dreaded #1 WR combo of Boldin & Fitz are already there, a little more help from the D and we're there!!!!!

I dont think 8-8 is realisticly possible. So one of your choices isnt really a likely possibility.

Agreed. I voted for 8-8 eventhough I didn't think that it is possible. 6-10 or 7-9 is much more realistic. If a 4-12 record would get us either Leinart/Bush/Furguson, I would have voted that way.

Maybe I'm an optimist (or homer, depending on who you talk to) but I think 8-8 is still very much a realistic possibility.

The Redskins are streaky. If the Cardinals catch them on a bad week, I see no reason why they can't beat them.

The Texans are beatable. They look lost most weeks, and appear headed to a major shake up in some capacity, while gravitating to the top of the draft boards.

The Eagles are beaten up, and torn apart. Offensively, they were a mess before Westbrook went down with his injury. Now that he's done for the year, I see the Eagles continuing to fall.

Lastly the Colts. As I said in the first post, they need one win to clinch home field throughout the AFC. Should they lose to San Diego or Jacksonville, realistically do you forsee them putting ANY of their big guns in against Arizona, running the risk of injury?

Hey, maybe I'm a pessimist. Maybe I'm a homer. But looking beyond that and checking outside the box, I really don't see why 8-8 is out of the realm of possibility.

Well we've tryed the whole 4-12 get a better draft pick approach for the last 100 years, and well it hasn't helped. Time for a change, 8-8.

Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner.

How come the ones who voted for high draft pick havent fessed up.

A mostly positive thread. In fact all up's and no downs. Now we may or may not win this Sunday, but our Cards have us thinking on the upside and that's alright mama. Yes I'm a homer and have been for years the grass on the Cards football field always looks greener befor the Sunday battle. We always look better. When we circle together before the game our hands are higher. To me till after Sunday, 8-8 is not only going to happen, it's in the bag!

8-8 and bring on the FA's! But it's going to be tough to not only beat 4 teams, but to stop beating ourselves. I'd love to see:

- a 100-yard game for JJ
- a game with no false start penalties
- a defensive touchdown
- more red zone TD's than FG's
- a late, pound-the-ball drive for a TD
- a dominating win

If we hit those, we'll be 8-8 for sure.

If you are not playing to win, you are a LOSER!

At this point 15 LOSERS out there... :trout:

Other than BigRedMo none of them would step up and admit it! :lame:

this team could be the "HOT" team going into next season (like the Panthers this season). That would help attract Free Agents.
