The Cardinals should have made more plays and the calls wouldn't have made a difference.
First, I was joking for the most part. I guess I really do need to just make my sig the laughing smilie because I am taken entirely to seriously on this board.
Buuuuuuuuut, this was the Super Bowl, not a first place team versus the Rams. To expect a blowout would be senseless IMO. Games between equally matched teams come to to small events and individual plays. A blown call can be that. saying that we should have made more plays is a cop out IMO. If the refs had no bearing on the outcome of games then why is it so hard to become an NFL ref, and why does the league use them anyhow? How many 3rd downs did the refs convert for them when Big Ben couldn't? Do you really think that Warner fumbled on the last play? To this day I do not understand why there was no review.
I am not saying that we won the game, I am simply stating that questionable officiating contributed to the last two Steeler Super Bowls. Combined with the fact that steroids were a major contributor to their first four and you have much of my reasoning for hating them.
