Actually, I am a Laker fan who lives here in Phoenix. I got a call from my Buddy in LA that this station was bashing Nash. I do have some respect for our Suns, but do believe in the Laker dynasty (I am originally from LA).

By the way..I will take the wine, crackers, cheese and serve them back after the team rally's tomorrow night.

It wouldn't shock me if the Lakers took the game tomorrow. It is a MUST win game so they'll be playing their asses off. I'm guessing that it'd be their only series win, though.

Just make sure you show up when the Fakers are going fishing.

The scrubs will be playing for a spot on the roster next year.

so.....the Lakers Dynasty is some sort of magical power?

i dont get it

what does this Lakers Dynasty do exactly? it seems to me that you are calling upon this "Power Rangers-esce" entity to somehow turn this Lakers team we saw last night (which was truely pathetic) into a contending team.

I think they traded the remains of the dynasty to Miami. :)

I've heard of Dynasty. She's a stripper in the warehouse district. She follows Mystique.

phil got 9 'ships because he had:

jordan, pippen, rodman, shaq, and kobe

btw,

does the lakers have 9 'ships too?

if they do, mainly because they had:

mikan, kareem, magic, and worthy.

(did wilt/baylor/west win a title for LA?)

huh. how come Doug Collins and Del Harris don't have any 'ships? They don't even have any conference 'ships with the same guys up above, respectively.

I hate the Lakers just as much as the next guy, but Jax is a phenomenal coach who built DYNASTIES. Neither of those team ever accomplished squat without Jackson, never winning a conference title or even getting close.

Man its so pathatic that people just cant say good job on the game or the series so far instead this troll who has no life has to come to another teams board and talk about how much better that the lakers are then the suns. Well I hope you enjoy living in the past because you will never win one with Kobe leading the way and not having another superstar to back him up like he had when shaq was their... You really make the laker fanbase look great by coming on this board and making your stupid trollbase statment. What is this like the 4th laker troll weve had so far what a joke... but whatever floats their boat I guess.

Jax is a very good coach but he's had more than his share of good fortune in terms of the players he's inherited and owners who've bankrolled his teams. Perhaps his best bit of good luck was finding Tex Winter before he got his first chance as a head coach...

I wouldn't call PJ the architect of the Lakers recent dynasty (if you can even call it that) The organization had a great deal of success before he came on the scene and they went out an hired Jackson to coach the team they'd assembled - granted Phil did make a couple of nice additions.

can't the same be said about EVERY great coach? Pat Riley had Magic and Kareem and Wade and Shaq, Auberbach had Cousy and Russell. What all time great coach DIDN'T have likely two of the best players of their eras?
