Whatever Cardiac I am not even a big Leinart fan, but I know that Derek Anderson sucks! Just because I want to see the BEST players play, you know the mantra KW supposedly goes by, doesn't mean I have a man crush. Maybe your KW man crush is clouding YOUR judgement, Matt has outplayed DA in every aspect all the while not even with even competition and Whiz seems to be personally choosing regardless of play. That is not good for the Cardinals or us fans, try a little objectivity!

Just because some of us would actually like to see Matt get a shot of proving himself before letting him go doesn't mean we have a man crush! Whatever it will just go down as the Cardinals being stupid and letting a possible QBOF walk to play a proven loser like DA then the media can all talk about how sorry we are! Way to lead us Whiz!

That is quite rich coming from you. As fans we are entitled to our opinions. We have the right to get mad and yell at the TV and vent on a message board. What most posters who don't agree with CKW have done made a couple of posts about this topic. You and a couple of others are screaming from the roof tops, spitting venom and posting till your fingers bleed.

My initial reaction was WTF is CKW thinking. But then I decided to think objectively and try and understand why he came to his decision to start DA over ML in game 3 of the preseason. Could it be because he hates ML because of his hair style? I know, he must hate him because he went to USC.
Maybe he has a self destructive personality and secretely want's to lose.

Then I read some posts that made a heck of a lot more sense then those ideas. I built on those objective thoughts and came to the conclussion that even if I don't understand the decision that the HC's resume has earned him the benefit of the doubt.

All of this hand wringing is based on ML not starting against the Rams and we don't even know if that will be the case.

All I know is we have the worst QB luck in the universe when it comes to drafting them.

You want to know the last QB we drafted that won a Super Bowl?

It's a trick question, he never played for us but he did have a crush on Suzy K, that's the only hints you get :)

KW did not like Edge and proved as such by benching him and killing the offense for what seemed like half the season. Until he had no choice to bring him back which then propelled our team to a SB run which EDGE was a HUGE part of first of all! Second if its a business decision to play the QB who has totally underwhelmed and been outplayed....well then he is a terrible business man!

Edge had a HUGE part in getting us to the Super Bowl? He had a solid game against the Falcons and that was it.

And he didn't like Edge because Edge sucked. Or wasn't that evidenced enough y the fact that after we cut him, he never played in the league EVER AGAIN. Problem was, HT wasn't ready to step up.

Edge was a 'HUGE' part of the Super Bowl run... come on now.

Not even mentioning the final game against Seattle which was important for us even getting to the playoffs, Edge had a great game as well. So don't act like he was not a big part of the superbowl run the whole damn team praised him and said how big he was in getting there!

That's not fair Shane. I am completely willing to be objective about it.

One could argue that the Leinart haters would be slanted with their point of view in regards to this situation. The truth is that none of us are body language experts, I guess it's just how you view it. I have watched it, he's waving his arms in the air and pointing that they should go for it, if you see it differently, I guess I'm just stupid. I'm fine with that.

If you want to write my opinion off so cheaply, that's your choice. That is my honest assessment of what happened.

I am confident that Whiz will start whoever he thinks gives us the best chance of winning regardless of what others or Matt thinks. We all assiumed Matt had the job when Kurt arrived when in reality it was not even close.

Shane's been waiting for this day to rub Leinarts supporters noses in it.

john h has also been waiting for this day. In fact I suspect the number who have been waiting are legion. I will add until I see it I remain suspect.

People actually have been waiting for the day we cut a top 10 pick and don't have a QB out of 5 years of him on our roster?

Not exactly something I'd ever look forward to. There's being right, and there's being right about something that flat out sucks. Bragging about the former is petty; bragging about the latter is sad.

Yup.

I don't care who you are, this as a fan should suck if nothing else from the time and emotions invested.

We all want to win but this just stinks.

I don't think many could of predicted this is how it would go down either, long strange trip.

You've been slipping lately, cheesy! Don't you remember his amazing 46 carries for 125 yards for the Seahawks last year?

Just keepin' it real....

The coaching staff is giving Derek Anderson enough rope to hang himself with. Derek Anderson was signed prior to the draft. While they knew that they were going to draft a QB, they were not sure who they would pick up. After going through OTAs and Training Camp, they determined that they liked Skelton's potential and Max Hall's moxie and determined that DA may not be needed. They want to give DA a chance with the #1's to guage how he could play if needed. If DA blows it, he is gone, if DA plays well, he stays on the roster as the backup.

Either way, I predict that Leinart is starting against St. Louis.

P.S. I hope that this does not blow up in my face!!!!

I've been out of town for the past week. I have to say...this really blew up in my face!!!!

:D

Anyways, it is all water under the bridge...BRING ON THE RAMS!!!!

Regardless of how you rated ML you get something in return for a #10,end of sentence. That sh** is wrong.Whiz had his mind made up. Season ticket holders, fans, and teammates got hosed. You get something in return for a #10 pick. That seperates winners from runners up bottom line.
