why don't we just cut the whole team? This is starting to look like a rebuilding purge....unless we bring in some other FA's...

Some journalist wrote several weeks ago that Bryant would not make it.

It makes some sense that it might be Wendell Bryant because there seems to be a logjam at the undertackle position. But, there have been reports that he really worked hard and showed some good stuff in the mini-camps. So, I don't think you cut a #1 pick without giving him a chance in your new system/new coaching staff.

But, after today, I wouldn't be surprised.

I still say it's Mac. He's undersized and older. Cutting him now would give him a chance to catch on with another team and get into thei8r camp. That's the respectful thing to do if Green doesn't see a place for him on the squad.

I'm going out on a limb and say it will be KVB.

He's a DE of course. It appears that he's healthy at least for now. He's also a Green type of guy. No, I see him lasting throughout camp.......or until he gets injured again.

It won't be McKinnon since Green named him a starter and one of the top players so I find it hard to believe Green would change course on his words...er...oh forget it.

It will be Wendell IMO.

On the offensive side of the ball........you can kiss goodbye to Hodgins. He's definitely an FB in a style warp from Green's system. But as opposed to cutting him outright, I'd try and get something for him.

I say it's McKinnon.... He seems to want to go with the youth movement and also get rid of the old leaders of the team that are used to losing...

Didn't he also mention Kendall? (that's a serious question, not a rhetoical one).

According to Luke this morning on 910, Levar Fisher is on the PUP list right now, but is expected to be able to take the field effective tomorrow. I'd be surprised--considering how well Fisher played last season--that he'd be cut without Green seeing him at all last season.

My guess: LB James Darling, DT No one (we only have 4 DTs in camp--we can't afford to cut any of them). Considering what a good teammate Bryant has been this offseason--reportedly--if he gets cut, it won't be until after camp.

I was thinking the same thing. Injuries have really limited his career.

:bang:

He's been in the league two years. His rookie season, he played in 7 games. In his second season, he started all 16 games. And made plays.

Injuries certainly come into play when you're discussing Shipp and Kendall though...

It's valid. Dude has trouble staying healthy.

That is my guess as well.
