I unrationally said a third or starter.

Bottom line: His ceiling barring injury is 20-40 catches for us due to our roster. Isnt a huge value for us. I may barter down to a 4th or 5th but feel he is good enough to keep over a 4th.

Tough call.

No, you keep him. Arians wants 6 WRs. Sometimes he will run a 4 WR set.

If someone gets hurt, that is extra insurance. And he has time to develop with Fitz and Floyd and Ginn Jr. And he's cheap as hell.

Keep him. Just like jw7 said, great insurance and Fitz may not be here next year. So it would be good to have a quality WR already that doesn't have to learn the system, or we have to pay an arm and a leg for.

I would like to keep him but if the right deal is there I take it. We need pass rushers and inside linebackers. That is what I would want.

So you sub in Walter Powell for Jauron Brown. If Fitz or Floyd get hurt, it's not like we won't be able to find some other warm body to come in and catch 20-30 passes.

I voted at third or a starter--more specifically a starting caliber ILB, and I would be listening.

I've found on my time on the

Giants' board that we fans grossly overrate the value of our players. NYers think they can get a 2-4 for Ryan Nassib.

I dont think anyone would give a 3rd but I think he is a good enough Wr to be a #2 or #3 on a team struggling for WRs and then the value goes up.

Didn't Ginn Jr sign a 3 year deal? Why do many assume he will be gone after this year?

I'm not familiar with his deal, but a lot of multiyear deals are not really binding for the full length. The Giants signed a 3 year deal with Brandon Myers but it was voidable by the team after the first year, which they did

Fitz or Floyd gets hurt and we are in trouble. The kid is good and that is why teams are interested and unless you can guarantee a player of his caliber who can start, you do not trade him

The question is really where are yuo going with the WR position. Ginn, gone next year probably. Fitz...I don't know. Floyd has a contract coming up and if you aren't going to pay top dollar WR, a cheap guy like Brown carries even more value.

Long story short, if your top 3 WRs in 2016 are going to be Floyd, Brown, and Brown, you don't trade him.
