Our office is under mandatory evacuation right now. I'm in process of storing "vital" paperwork then off to the house to finish getting it ready.
My wife, an ICU RN at the local Childrens Hospital, was told to bring a sleeping bag and change of clothes to work. They are not allowing her to leave tonight to ensure that she is available to work tommorrow.
Me and the dog are going to ride it out at home. We are a bit further inland, so I'm not too worried about flooding.
In case I don't get to log back in here for a few days: Jake sux, we should have gotten something for Boston, Bidwill needs to sell the team, Rod Graves is an idiot, we can't develop any young players, etc.
Go Cards!!!

Things must be bad in Cardinal Land when a Hurricane is the subject of a "levity" thread.

But yeah, I was wondering how a hurricane is something "light, or funny" to take us away from the misery of the Cards, lol.

Nothing funny about a hurricane obviously but Cards fans finally get to see some sound defensive strategy and my guess is the good citizens of the Carolinas will make the proper adjustments when called for.

Not funny at all when your wife's sister lives in Virginia Beach

I suppose the intent was more along the lines of a little perspective...
