I was just going to post this. With Chester Taylor hurt now, I think we might see an amazing year from AP.

He is special and if you are waiting for him to turn into a bust you are sorely mistaken. AP is all world and IMO will be better in the NFL than college. That screen pass for a TD was ridiculous.

But lets not bring this up every week because I can guaran-damn-tee you he is going to have more big Sundays than not barring injury.

I still think the Cardinals did the right thing. I look for our run game to be much improved and one side of our line solidified for the next decade. If Levi provides that we could not have asked for a better pick.

Besides special RB's come out every year. In fact Lynch so far has looked very impressive too. And I expect McFadden, Ray Rice to be pretty freaking good too. And Joe McKnight and Demarco Murray few years down road.

Hopefully Levi REALLY develops. Until then I am happy so far with the improvement it looks like he has already brought.

Sure he's gonna be good, but he's playing with a pretty darn good line in front of him (something he would not have had here), it remains to be seen if he can stay healthy and dude, it was Atlanta. Not exactly the world's best run defense. He's a rookie, let's not anoint him to the Hall of Fame yet.

Then call me silly.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I think most folks are disgusted with the fact the front office put the team in a position that they HAD to draft Brown.

A draft pick because you HAVE to is never a good thing.

I disagree. This team HAD to get rid of Leonard Davis. Thus getting a guy in here that has a completely different mentality and actually appears to be good.

Now imagine this team right now with Peterson, an out for the season Ross and no L. Brown.

We made the right choice regardless of whether or not you agree with the reasons it was made.

Oh and your silly!

Peterson is special. I rank him up there with Steven Jackson and Roy Williams ( WR ) as players I wished Cards had drafted.

Come on Shane. Adrian Peterson is a stud and this team screwed up when they didn't get a replacement LT last year or this year before the draft. Trying to link it to having to get rid of Davis is a stretch. They could have gotten rid of him before they just let him walk.

You guys keep saying that. But I dont recall anybody banging down our door offering anything for him. I still dont buy it.

I dont disagree that Peterson is a stud. But I Believe we also got a stud. A good T can go along ways towards solidifying a team.

Im sorry but Davis HAD TO GO!

all I'm saying is Brown to Peterson better not be what Big was to Tomlinson. My guess is he will be. Backs this special DON'T come around that often - OL do.

That being said, if Brown's a stud, it likely won't matter what RB is back there because our line should be pretty damn well set for the future opening up holes that I could run through.

Ill go on record now and say that A. Peterson has no shot at a career like Tomlinson. IMO the guy wont be healthy long enough.

I like peterson but Brown was the better pick for us because we needed oline help the most, but I think both players will have a good carrer in the nfl and will each help out their own teams.

Once the season starts, not drafting A Peterson falls into the bucket of other "we should have drafted this guy" posts. Time to move on.
