My board at 29 looks like this:

Noah Spence I see a Justin Houston type talent

Leonard Floyd No power but explosive

Eli Apple I can see the Raiders Steelers or Seahawks nabbing him

Emanuel Ogbah long and strong he is what the Giants and Bengals draft

Kevin Dodd only scratching the surface (Kony Ealy clone?)

Vernon Butler versatile player can play nose or end in our 3 4 tenacious

defender who plays hard

Yeah, panic mode was not an accurate statement. You seem more concerned with our deficiencies than I am is probably the more accurate way to describe it.

Here is where I start and end with our offseason.

We signed a more athletic S than we had in Jefferson, Johnson or Swearinger. I like that.

We lost Massie whose replacement was drafted last year, and I am confident that they would have paid what the Bears paid if they were concerned about Humphries.

We need to figure out the C, RG and swing OT spot, but Sendlein is still available, and so is Larsen. So, IMO, worst case we sign the guys we had or their similar talent level.

Our offensive skill groups is the same, so add 1 year of continuity, and full offseason for David Johnson. That is a good thing.

On defense, we didn't add an edge guy, but it isn't a great offseason for and edge player, so I am not mad we didn't throw money at it.

I want to see us draft a stud DE, but I also see that we need secondary players which the draft matches up well to provide.

Essentially, I want to see the following moves made. I want competition to be brought in for C or RG. I would like a vet RT brought in to backup Humphries. I would like to sign a starting vet CB. I would like our first round pick to be a DE, LB or CB. I would like two LBs drafted. I would like two DBs drafted. I would like one OL drafted.

If those moves are made, I will feel like we had pretty good offseason.
This are exactly my thoughts.
