I hear a whole lot of people blaming DRC and I don't see it. He saved two touchdowns in the first half and was placed on an island by Clancy in the second half.

A-Bomb, on the other hand, is awful tough to watch on defense.

DRC is only a rookie was a playmaker in this game, I don't blame him one bit. With Francisco, every time I've seen him on the field I always wonder why he is even put out there. We should seriously consider drafting a safety in the 3rd to step in for A-Dub.

Worst player of the game.

A close second to Edgerrin James. Third to Antrel Rolle.

The Miami boys played like girls.

Those three should be cut immediately.

DRC played like crap.

At least I won't have to read articles about him making 10 Pro Bowls anymore.

If we don't fix that awful secondary, then we definitely need to improve the pass rush.

Exactly the long pass to Hines Ward I have no idea who was at fault but DRC saved our bacon.

Francisco blew the catch and run by Holmes on the winning drive, DRC took the underneath which was the RB leaving Holmes to AF who overran the play.

Francisco has always been a scrub in non-special team scenarios. His impact is minimal.

Francisco needs to be more like Morey, a special teams stud who only sees the field on special teams.

How does Francisco see the field? He isnt a starter Why put in a 3rd safety? I dont get it.

Why the condervative defense on the last drive as well?

If only that were true.

Heh.

None of our safeties have pure foot speed. It's part of why the CB's have that huge cushion.

There's plenty of blame to go around, but it doesn't make me feel any better.

What I see are opportunities for players and the front office to work in some very specific areas.

It's a standard package the Cardinals use that allow to have Wilson in the box and still have two safeties deep. We saw it a lot during the regular season and it was pretty sucky there too.

The secondary was pitiful in this game.. even Adrian was terrible in run support.. constantly overrunning guys.. and then his bonehead roughing the holder..

This was an amazing run, but lets be honest, we've been really lucky to not get exploited earlier given the fact that our secondary consists of Rolle, Francisco, Brown, and Hood..

Outside of DRC and Wilson all four of those guys would have a tough time finding quality snaps for other playoff teams..

In an ideal world both Hood and Rolle are nicklebacks.. Francisco and Brown are special teamers..

Still can't believe that idiotic roughing the holder.. imagine how huge that minute would have been for us.. ugh

Fransisco is an albatross. I cannot wait for him to be gone next year.

There is no way we will have two DB special team guys, and Michael Adams is better on ST anyway.

Fransisco's lack of coverage on Holmes was the killer beyond all killers. How can you let a 15 yard pass be completed AND give up another 20 on the YAC in the Superbowl ?

Unbelievable. If we are going to play a 3 saftey defense we need a better 3rd saftey.

Fransisco has KILLED us all year long.

Francisco probobly shouldn't have been in the game, in that situation. I don't know who they had on the sidlines, but Brown or Adams should have been in there.

The play your referring to wasn't Francisco's responsability though. DRC left Holmes to cover the back out of the backfield! Are you kidding me! You stay ON COVERAGE downfield in that situation. Let Francisco worry about IF a RB makes a catch out of the backfield!

The eagles killed us this way in the championship game as well. Slant routes then bad angles allowing massive yac.

Hard to say who was supposed to do what but Francisco was deeper than DRC so it may well have been DRC's job to take the underneath. Remember pitt ate us up all game throwing in front of DRC when he was playing off. That had to be by design, vintage Pendergast. So it's entirely possible DRC takign the RB was by design but it sure was a killer when Francisco overran it.
