Was our first possession of the 4th quarter. A 7 minute, 12 play drive that featured 9 rushing plays and culminated with the Fitz dagger TD! We literally slammed the ball down the 9ers throats, starting on our own 21 yard-line. If there was any fight left in them, we literally punched it out on that drive.
Awesomeness!!!

Agree! Loved the way we ran the ball in the 2nd half but that drive was badass. :)

Hey----82grad, It was almost like BA was telling San Fran, "look, I am going to take my foot off your throat now, but it is not so that you can get back up and start getting mouthy with my guys". "I am only doing this so that my O-line can kick your butts around a while as we use up most of what's left on the clock and hang another 7 on you while we do it". Hahaha-------that sounds like something the 'cool uncle' might do.

Even though it's a passing league, nothing crushes the human spirit better than running the ball down your opponent's throats.

Trying really hard to remember...

such a beat down of a much-hated foe.. While there was no "coasting" on our part...we clearly had the game in the "W" column..we knew it...and better yet..they knew it.

VERY SATISFYING!

Mark :)

...The 38-0 thrashing of Dallas on a Mon. night back in 70' now comes to mind.

Don Meredith (singing): "Turn out the ligghhhttts...the party's OVER!" :D

CLASSIC!

I just liked that we didn't let up. As someone said in another thread if we RUTS so what, they had it coming.

they were continuing to take shots at Palmer when we did throw, so why not run the ball right at them and take their wind.

Loved that drive.

Bruce's halftime quote of anyone who takes it easy loses their job tomorrow and keep your foot on their throat was an awesome sounds bite as well
