DD was the last to buy into Horton's system and once he did the D starting playing at a much higher level. DD has to be told not to tweet crazy stuff and post videos of himself in the shower. DD has a history of not always following the rules or refusing to play within the scheme. IMWO it's why Horton lowered the boom with the 200k fine recently.

PP when asked to jump asks how high. When the same is asked of DD he has to stop tweeting and ask the coach to repeat himself because he wasn't paying attention. So who HAS to be held more accountable?
not according to this:

he asks Horton "how high" before he even gets told to jump
“Darnell (Dockett) came to me and said, ‘Hey coach, we still have a lot to play for, what are we doing (this week)?’ ” Horton said. “We are prepared. We are all on the same page.”

I'm not going to go back and link the articles that showed that DD was the last on board with Horton's scheme. I think we can both remember DD getting the 200k fine.

DD is a warrior and tries to do the right thing but simply doesn't all the time. So good on Horton for fining him and letting him know he can't go of the reservation.

The point is that PP doesn't need to be fined our held accountable the same way that DD does from time to time.

oh hell no. I'm a bit foggy this morning. I guess I missed your point. As I said before, I didn't find any of his comments disrespectful or inflammatory. I took them as quite the opposite, he's looking forward to proving himself against one of the best WRs in the game. And I think in the article I posted (I know it was in one I read this morning) Horton is quoted as being happy Peterson made those remarks

Don't worry. Shane says that he doesn't need to be held accountable for that, or for pressing. Or for teams no longer being concerned that he's going to hurt them.

Good thing they benched PP for "accountability" today.

Yes. 5 receptions for 54 yards certainly is continuing his level of dominance.

Where did I say he should be benched from playing? Oh, no where. Good on ya, big guy.

Not sure we are speaking the same language.
