Ad-Free?

I am seeing an Amazon ad at the bottom of all the threads/forums. I'm sure it is by mistake, but seeing as I paid for an ad-free ASFN, I'd appreciate it getting fixed.

I assumed ad-free meant the ads that break up the flow of threads. The Amazon one at the bottom doesn't bother me and it likely helps the site. It really bothers some people?

I'm not trying to be a smart-alec or pick a fight, but what does it matter why I'm scrolling down that far (I know you're mostly just messing with me). The point is, the only reason I paid to be a contributor was to get rid of the ads. Ad-FREE doesn't mean "mostly without ads".

I don't like not getting what I've paid for.

The ad at the bottom is there to help the site regardless of whether it is disabled for contributors.

I'm still doing my ebay and amazon purchases through the site (which has to be adding up the pennies this time of year), so I do my part! I am with Linderbee 100% -- we're paying to have one place of refuge in our daily wanderings that the relentless marketing stops. Completely.
