We released Hadnot.

LT: ???
LG: Colledge
C: Sendlein
RG: Snder
RT: Levi

For better or worse, Levi will be starting for us. I hope we can sign Bell to play LT, or else we may have Levi starting at LT (a clear disaster) and a rookie or a re-signed Keith starting at RT. My God, if we have Levi and Keith as our starting OTs again, we are screwed!

Didn't you know that Levi Brown suddenly became an All-Pro talent 30 seconds after the Cards re signed him?

Take the time to review the tape for the last 8, 9 games of last year and you may revise your opinion. The communication between Levi and Colledge gradually improved and they became solid. The O-lin problems throughout the season, without improvement, were on the right. Removing Hadnot was step one, and getting a RT is the next. Improve that position and we will have unit that will be far from a laughing stock.

Half a season doesn't make a career. I'm not willing to ignore years of suckage because of 1/2 of a season. I also recall countless times that Skelton shrugged off certain sacks. If Levi manages to put in a solid SEASON of consistently good to above average play, I'll get off his case.

You might turn out to be right (because offensive linemen are different from you and me). But this sounds suspiciously like our "rationalize away our OL troubles" annual tap-dance where we talk our way out of making the hard choices.

It's not even that we are making the same mistakes twice, it's like we're making it over and over and over....

Bottom line is that we have 2 guys on 5 year deals and 2 with four years remaining on their contracts. The team is getting committed to this group with additions to come.
