He is exactly what we want. Defense, shotblocking and rebounding. His only fault is that he was injured most of last season and is "only" 6'10-6'11 but that is true for all FA centers except Ostertag.

It's about optimal use of the current once-in-a-lifetime situation of Suns being under cap! When this offseason is over, you won't hear anything like that about Marion from me.

JJ/Ginobili/Nash is already better fit for Amare's low-post dominance than the Marion/JJ/Nash one in my opinion. And Cato is as good as Dampier and the risk is only one year I think. Mobley is a really good scorer who acquired bad traits playing with Francis.
