Living here in mn I get an unfortunate luxury of listening to all the bs around ap n with saying that the word is ap "isn't happy with how he was treated by the Vikings" when he was suspended even though they paid him the entire season his $12m contract minus the 6 games he was suspended. I think he's full of $hit n has openly expressed interest in going home to the Dallas area. The reports lingering with the cardinals r reports we contacted his dad since we can't actually talk to him under tampering rules. However this guy is 2 years removed from literally putting the Vikings on his back n carried them to a 10-6 playoff record n one of those seasons he has 26 carries so he would be a perfect 2 down back especially in our system where we spread out n pound it. He doesn't rece the ball or block well which is where Ellington would play in. Also Ellington is not overrated. He's played 2 years n he's very talented. He's not a typical 3 down back in size or power. He's more of a Darren sproles then a Jamal Charles

Would Adrian Peterson be an upgrade for our offense? Yes.

Is there a cost that will come with acquiring him? Yes.

Would his role with this team be big enough to justify that cost? That would be up Arians.

RB isn't a huge priority IMO because there will be a ton of options. I would be just as good with Frank Gore for a fraction of the cost. Sign Gore, and draft a guy in the mid rounds.

I think RB is a priority but not the biggest. There are a ton of options this year in FA.

I hate the 49ers but have the utmost respect for Gore. I think he can be had for relatively cheap considering the amount of miles he has on him and the number of FA RBs on the market. He would be a great complement to Ellington IMO.

Plus he has one of the greatest nicknames in the NFL. "The Inconvenient Truth".

I really wanted Le'Veon Bell.. would love to have a back in that 6'1 225 range. Yeldon, David Johnson, or Duke Johnson would make me happy.

I'll take box number 3, I really like Johnson and think he'd pair well with Ellington.

Steve

He is pretty dang fast!
