Yep. You know what my kids do when that happens? They watch the ref throw a flag for Unsportsmanlike conduct on the team that just scored. Find something else to bitch about. You always do.

Glad you arent raising my kids. Thats all I can say.

Not hard to do with this team. Wait it is for some you ;)

Think about this. Why did it take this staff an entire off season, training camp, and 8 games of the regular season to settle on the 5 offensive linemen currently starting?
Because it did.

Sometimes when your door won't unlock, you've got to keep trying different keys to the lock until it finally works.

Granted, it took long enough to cost us the season, but sometimes that's just the way it is. Point is - the problem appears to be fixed.

So what should we do - go back in time and fire the HC? Or, instead, should we take a fresh look at "what we are as a team" here at the 13-game mark and what future courses of action (or non-action) might bring?

I have an alternate explanation to interpret the apparent disconnect between "packing it in vs. GB and Oakland" and later on "playing their ass off for Dennis":

I think many of the younger players had trouble recovering from the StL, KC and Chicago losses and simply lost their poise and felt sorry for themselves. It took a few weeks for veteran leadership to assert itself and fill an apparent vacuum.

What we're seeing now is veteran leadership beginning to establish itself (and it apparently is working).

In short, I don't think the players "quit on Dennis." Instead, some of them got rattled quit on themselves and their teammates, but the leaders (some old dawgs & some youngsters from winning programs) took over and got things straightened out.

That's how I see it.
