The closest situation I can think of is Bugel's last season. We disapppointed early, but finished strong at 7-9. Bidwill canned him anyhow because he made a silly 8-8 ultimatum.

Mike Bidwill, on a preseason show, when asked about what record would get Green back if they didn't make playoffs specifically brought up that situation and said that was a mistake that would NOT be repeated.

That was in Bugels 4th year as HC. If you can't do it in 4 yrs, you deserve to be fired IMO. This is Denny's 3rd season. I think we will be hard pressed to fire Denny if the team continues to play well.

It's not far fetched at all, to me at this point it's a legitimately hard question to answer.

I think you could make a good case either way, I never liked Green as a coach, I always thought he was a bad in game coach, not a real outhinking the other guy type but again this management team could do worse, they've proven that.

Maybe we could trim around the edges on the coaching staff and still keep DG. I am all for letting Richard Solomon go.

He got in Burleson's face, Burleson pushed out at him and Wilson hit back. Yeah, Wilson got a better shot in, but Burleson should definitely have been flagged too. Like the guy that hit Brown first. Lousy refs.

any personal foul penality is stupid. just like when wild card says 5 yard peanlities doesn't hurt a team. it does. as far as green goes, it seems that the offensive line isn't holding him hostage anymore. the cardinals have the broncos, 49ers, and chargers left to play. if green wins out then i say give him one more chance to prove that he can get the job done.

Just listen harder. It's worth the freaking effort. He's a probowler-should-be with a ton of freaking heart and a homegrown Cardinal. Take the extra effort to listen to the dude even though he doesn't speak as clear as others...what he says comes from the heart.

Didn't see this play as well live as you probably did, but did see Nate's shower routine live and on the big board, and it was freaking great. That was a great TD celebration.

He made up for getting jacked up by Hanick about five minutes previous.

Plus, AW's flag amounted to basically nothing as it was enforced on the kickoff. At that point, I'd advocate anything that doesn't get you thrown out to put your face in the guy's mind for the rest of the game. That's like a free penalty.

Actually you are wrong this time. AW walks right up to him and starts to have a few words and CLEARLY puches his him in the lower right side as he looks away. It was a cheap shot. Burelson comes at him for doing it and AW pops him again with his left hand right in the chest. Its clear as day just watched it on the TIVO 5 times right here in front of the computer and Im sober now. If you cant see that you really must clean the sleep out.

Moving Brown to the Left side was a good idea I didn't hear a lot on here saying so I'll credit the O line coach with that but still, Step started way way too long.

I agree 100%, seems most of us were screaming for those moves.

Even now they are playing Francisco at FS, Griffith at SS, & letting AW play OLB. I have been asking for this forever.

I questioned his move to RG from the start because his success with the Texans had been at LG.

Interesting because when they made the move I was baffled since Lutui had been working at LG from the day we drafted him and Brown was the starting RG, so it seemed silly. But maybe they simply decided Brown plays better on the left and Deuce is better able to switch to the right?

Whatever it's clearly working, we finally have a run game.
