Affordability of elite NBA defense

Some of ya'll dont seem to have a clue as to the value of having players who are willing and able to buy into a system that dictates stopping your opponent from doing what they're comfortable doing offensively.

Of course you cant put together a starting 5 of Bruce Bowens and expect to win...lol,but you must have a stopper or two(preferably a perimeter guy and a big scrapper who can guard the rim) and find a monster scorer,and some other scorers who are at least adequate guarding people and an entire team that buys into it...which starts with the HC.

You most definately cant have your two best offensive players be horrific defensively and win anything important.

I agree that rebounding is a huge part of defense,but getting stops and getting the opposition uncomfortable is equally as important.
