He's starting to remind me of David Boston. Frequent injuries and attitude problems. At the least the team should fine him.

Reading this makes me sick. Not because of Boldins actions either. I know he will be there for this team.

It makes me sick because this is what some fans are talking about after the biggest win in Cardinals history and won of the biggest wins in Arizona Sports history.
If it's big news why the hell does it matter when it's discussed?

I can't believe that, I have always been a Boldin supporter and this disgusts me.. but honestly.. who cares. We are playing in february everyone! We don't have to talk about this crap, because we have something better to talk about. Let the Raiders and the Cowboys deal with this stuff.. we still have football to play!

OK, I'll play along. Trade him for what? What would you want in return? Keeping in mind other owners may have the same attitude towards him.

And what attitude would that be? Continually lobbying players to come play for AZ when no one else would? Being the face of the franchise for the longest time and underpaid? Realizing his mistake earlier this year and deciding to be a good teammate and leader as opposed to being TO or another Ocho Cinco? Or getting his face busted up and returning a few weeks later when other players would have sidelined for months? Please tell me what Q's attitudes are? For you short timers I could see how Q's attitude could be an issue, but to most of us Q has been nothing short of an exceptional teammate and Cardinal. Could he have handled things differently? Sure. I am sure it was frustration more than anything.

I agree, and he is an amazing player and I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for him to be on the bench watching us piss away a lead. Any personnel package with him on the bench is not one that has our best players on the field and I understand him being upset. I am pissed though at his postgame antics. We are going to the superbowl, Edge who had to be frustrated that 2nd half of the season continually said the right things and and when we made the playoffs he seemed truly happy to be a part of things, getting carries or not. If thats not in Boldins makeup, win in 2 weeks then trade him for a kings ransom and win in 54 weeks. If he was just pissed off today, win and 2 weeks and then again in 54 weeks. I won't complain either way.. just don't forget to win :D

Boldin and a 5th for Asante Samuel... McNabb needs a reliable receiver, if we had Samuel and DRC, our D is shored up. We would just need to sign a Peppers type DE that would get coverage sacks all day.

And who's attitude do you want? Mine or the person I was replying to (conraddobler)?
If you look I did give you my take on it and my attitude on it is the same as yours. ;)

Samuel has gone from 10 to 6 to 4 Ints the last few years. You still want him?

we NEED him against the steelers. also he'll have two more weeks to heal and get near a 100%. lets not forget before the season he was dead even with fitz, if not slightly ahead.

no we don't. we didn't need him last year against the Steelers, we didn't need him against Carolina, we didn't him against Dallas... we haven't needed him in ANY of our biggest wins the last couples years since we've actually been a real football team.

get with the program or get the **** out Q. We can and HAVE lived with or without Q.

1. Why is it needed that we trade him for another WR. We already have his replace in Breaston. Urban and Doucet have shown they could be a solid #3. Even without Boldin we are a solid WR core from #1 to #4. If we trade Boldin it wont be for another player, player for player trades died over ten years ago when we last did it. It would be for draft picks and praft picks alone.

2. Whats the talk of Breaston not producing. One, our passing attempts per game has gone down 20%. Two, Fitz has been trageted way more then the regular season and playing like a legend right now. Three, we have been using way more two TE and jumbo packages where Breaston isnt even in the field and its just a lone Fitz out there. So in all Breaston has been given far less opportunites to even be targeted then the regular season yet he is still the #2 WR on the team in the playoffs, but when you compare it to Fitz 23 catches to 7 of course the perspective is that he hasne produced but that isnt the reality.

First off, Im pretty tired of this "forget about it we are in the superbowl" attitude. As most of us have been cardinal fans our whole life this is one of the best sports moments that has ever happend to us.. we get that, we ARE happy.

But you cant overlook this type of thing. I dont care WHAT boldin did in the past, just like i dont care about how crappy the cardinals were before. I just got through looking at 204 pictures fo the game one of the guys on the board took at the game, half of those being of the celebration.. I didnt see a #81 in any of them..

Q has turned into a selfish, mefirst player with a terrible terrible attitude. It started with him wanting a new contract earlier this year, and now its ended with the ULTIMATE show of selfishness. the best part is (like someone stated before) he will NEVER get that back, and he deserves that...something hes going to regret for the rest of his life.

and to the guy that said breaston hasnt stepped up... hes a 3rd reciever that basically hasnt been thrown too, its not really his fault. and the best part is, i bet he would be MORE THAN HAPPY to slide into that #2 spot. I know he could certainly handle the duties.

ANYWAYS, GO CARDS!!! F Q.

So you're going to keep giving one player new contracts every other year just to keep him happy?

Boldin has already had 3 contracts in six years. Maybe he should stop asking for contracts all the time to keep up with the Jones' and the FO should not bend so easily to his will.

Josh I wasn't advocating for us to look it over. I am pissed too, but I believe there is a time and place for everything and less than 3 hours after the Cards won the NFC title was not that time IMO. Q was instrumental on getting us here but his actions have become a problem and I am sure Wiz and co will address it properly at the right time. What Q did was classless, selfish and petty no doubt. He did it to get attention, so why should we give him what he wants by making all these threads about it? That all being said I would like to see what happened this week and then we can cast stones.

If the price is right why not? I think Breastons play makes Boldin more expendable now if he wants to play hardball during negotiations. I am not about slamming and ripping a player hours after he helped get us to where we always wanted to be because he decided to act like a douche.

Just so you know that wasnt directed at you, there has been alot of people trying to look the other way.

Im probably taking this too far, and maybe thats because at one point i loved Q so much. he was captian cardinal, he was the face of the franchise. to all of us. we dreamed he would be here along with us when we went to the super bowl.. but not like this... it hurts.

I think thats where alot of peoples frustration is comming from. I will never go back though, no amount of touchdowns is going to change my opinion about Q. hes gotta go.

I think guys like Q and Edge filled a leadership void that lacked in the coaching ranks in the past and that gave them undue authority and leverage in the organization. Now we have true leadership all the way down the line with guys like Haley, Grimm and obviously Whiz.

I think this has been an adjustment for these guys. They thought this was their team and now they realize they are a replaceable piece of a team. Sure they have great talent and heart when it works for them but the days of holding up the team are over.

This, in my opinion is a great thing. Q & Edge may not be able to recover from this shift and we lose some major talent but the team and organization will be more stable as a result and in the case of Boldin we have depth at the position and we should get some real value in a trade that could land a running mate for Hightower.

Yes, because your point doesnt mean a whole lot. Samuels as the years go by gets thrown on far fewer times as the elague figures out just how good he is. Far fewer passes thrown his way means far fewer opportunities tog et INT's. Even though he is being targeted less he has raised his passes defensed every season.

You know, it's just possible that the high level of emotion and "give me the damn ball" attitude is what makes Boldin an elite player. He's out there on one leg right now and we could spend all day listing games that he has dominated to help us get to this point.

You all fail to realize that the same attitude that makes him demand the ball and want to get paid is what separates him from the "who gives a crap?" players who make up most of the league and spend their careers wallowing in mediocrity.
