I’m told the trade terms that the #49ers have on the table from the #Patriots for WR Brandon Aiyuk remain unchanged, per source. It’s the same terms New England has been offering for a while.

The #Patriots have been pursuing Aiyuk for months.

This is not a simple trade to execute. Any interested team would have to meet the asking price of Brandon Aiyuk and the 49ers. It’s easy to meet one of those conditions but considerably more complicated to meet both. So far, no one has been able to do it.

Steelers and 49ers re-engaged in conversations mid-day today regarding Brandon Aiyuk, per league sources. As of Monday night, the 49ers-Steelers talks stalled. But there have been further conversations today in an ever-fluid situation that still involves other teams as well.

Not that we’re overtaking the Niners anytime soon it’s still nice seeing multiple guys sitting out and creating drama to get new deals, a QB that will soon get a mega contract and blow up their salary cap plus massive amounts of pressure on a team that continues to come up short in the playoffs every year. Just saying it doesn’t exactly hurt my heart to see.
