Many teams can attest to the fact that without a guy to get them the ball, great wide receivers are a waste.

Moreover, Mike Williams of Tampa, Stevie Johnson, Jacoby Ford, Emmanuel Sanders are all proof that you can find as much good wide receiver talent in the later rounds as you can in the first round.

I am passing on AJ Green unless we also trade Fitz.

What if Green is available and is the BPA?

I must be biased. I watched Georgia without him, when he was suspended. Total difference maker.

He has jet speed. Jumps over buildings. Catches everything he touches. Separates from defenders. Size to spare. Anything missing?

Can he run block?

Although I want us to draft Luck or a passrusher with our first round pick, AJ Green would also be a very good pick and if you look back on our drafts lately it would kind of make sense. Fitz only has one year left on his contract. Breaston is a free agent next year. Doucet can't stay healthy and when he is, he's not that great. Roberts is our speed guy.

It would make sense to fill the void of Breaston leaving if the Cards are not going to give him a big contract and if Whiz thinks Skelton is the QBOTF. Green isn't my favorite for this draft, but I wouldn't mind if we took him either.

AJ Green will not be a crazy pick if we lose Breaston. And, it would almost be a necessity if it looks like we can't keep Fitz.

If Green isn't available, I wouldn't mind Jones or the Oklahoma State WR, Blackmon, I believe is his name. Any one of the three, along with Fitz, imo, will go a long way to restoring our offense.

Austin Pettis is a better reciever and footballplayer and so will Jones be in the pros. I like Green, but not in round 1.

I firmly believe that had Dez Bryant been available last season Whis would've taken him over D. Williams.

AJ Green will be very good IMO and I could live with the pick but this team really needs IMPACT LBs and DE's in the worst way.
Bad season to draft LBs.
