There is racial prejudice everywhere but man, you need to be aware of the city he got arrested in, Austin. I went to school at UT, and hippie central is not exactly noted for its racist cops. Dude probably was drunk, and probably on Sixth street as Bucky cited, and got into a shouting match with some students on Spring Break (hence, let's assume also some women where involved haha) getting drunk like him

I've seen many a fight & peeps arrested for drunkeness down there, including 5-7 friends over the years. Some peeps just can't control themselves around alcohol, particularly when it's flowing like water on 6th street.

Btw I'm sooooooo sick of countless people claiming the race card for everything wrong that happens to them!!! Sure it happens & is somewhat a problem worldwide, but more people need to act like a grown up & be responsible for their actions instead of making excuses based on race

You can depending what you are saying, if it is after midnight, what the shouting might erupt into in a situation full of drunk people, and yes if you are really drunk meaning public intoxication

I was in downtown Austin for a charity event that Vince Young was attending Saturday night. He met Cedric Benson in the hotel lobby following the event. Maybe it was a UT reunion this weekend in downtown Austin.

Apparently in the AZRepublic, aka The Rag, Okafor's warrant was due to not paying a fine on a jaywalking ticket.
